Notices for 7th March, 2010

- 100 club - The next draw takes place today.
- Confirmation - Adults and children in year 5 upwards considering Confirmation should see Emma.
- Saturday 13th March - Mike Quigley has arranged for his mother Doris' ashes to be buried in the Church garden next Saturday. There will be a short requiem at 10.00am with the burial of the ashes at 10.30am. Mike has invited anyone who knew his mother to attend if they so wish.
- PCC Meeting - The next meeting is on Tuesday 9th March at 7.30pm.
- Olivet to Calvary - St Anne's choir will perform the traditional Palm Sunday evening peice - Maunders 'Olivet to Calvary' at 7.30pm this year. Tickets are now available from Emma for this event, costing £5 each which includes a glass of wine. Also you may wish to sponser a copy of the music (copies cost £10 each) or make a donation towards a copy. A plaque will be placed inside the sopy with words in 'memory of' or 'dedication to' to mark your donation. If you would like to do this, please see Emma.
- Lent Course - God's Pilgrim People - There will be a time of Lenten reflection during the Friday morning Eucharist at St Snne's starting at 10.30am. For those who cannot attend the course below is an alternative.
- The World Today - through the eyes of Jesus - Lent course led by Bishop James at Liverpool Cathedral, 7.30pm each Wednesday until 24th March.
- Frances Williams - Frances has been quite poorly and is hospital, she has asked Emma to say hello to everyone. She is likely to be in hospital for a while yet.
- Rutter Requiem CD's - CD's are available of the St Anne's Choir Concert last July. If you would like to get a copy then please see Emma. They are £5 each for a double CD, a real bargain!
- Flower Fund - Please remember the flower fund is open all year round and any donations made in memory of a loved one will be mentioned in the newsletter. Please give your details to Sheila.
- Book of Remembrance - There are forms on the table at the back of
church for anyone who wishes to have a name entered into the book.
- Baptisms and Weddings - The clergy are available most Wednesday evenings at 5.45 pm for enquiries regarding Baptisms and Weddings.
